Brian Anderson is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational, Environmental Safety and Health. He has more than six years of experience in fire protection and prevention, as well as emergency management. A former firefighter, Brian is a member of ASSE (American Society of Safety Engineers).
Joe Bansemer has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee and 16 years of experience as a work comp loss control professional. Before that, he served as an outpatient occupational therapist. He has a diversified background in loss control in such industries as healthcare, transportation, not-for-profit organizations, manufacturers, and construction.
Mike DeLaney has more than 30 years of experience in loss control and has managed a wide range of large accounts including casinos, national hotel chains, and nationwide contractors. Mike earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Technology from the University of Wisconsin - Platteville.
Larry Ditscheit is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Safety. He has many years of experience as a loss prevention professional in the insurance industry; he's been a member of West Bend's team since 1993. A member of ASSE (American Society of Safety Engineers), Larry is also an association safety committee member and a CSP (Certified Safety Professional).
Paul Fuerbringer is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Safety. Paul has nearly 30 years of experience in the insurance industry as a safety representative. He's earned the Certified Safety Professional, Associate in Risk Management, and Associate in Loss Control Management designations.
Chuck Henry started his career as a safety director in another industry then moved to the insurance industry as a loss prevention consultant. Today he manages West Bend's Loss Prevention Department. Chuck has more than 17 years of experience in insurance loss prevention. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management and Human Resources/Training from UW-Stout in Menomonie, Wisconsin, and a Master of Business Administration degree from Edgewood College in Madison, Wisconsin. Chuck holds the Certified Insurance Counselor and Certified Risk Management designations.
Mike Himes earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agricultural Business from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. Mike also has a Master's Degree in Risk Control Management from UW-Stout. He's a Certified Fire Protection Specialist and also earned the CSP (Certified Safety Professional) designation. Mike has more than 15 years of loss prevention experience in the insurance industry and more than 7 years of safety experience in other industries.
Michael Kipp has 20-plus years of experience as a loss prevention representative with regional and national companies. Mike has obtained the ARM designation and is also a certified hunter's safety instructor.
Joan Kuhn began her insurance career with West Bend in 1969. She's held many different positions within the company and is currently our commercial lines specialist. She's earned the CPCU (Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter), ALCM (Associate in Loss Control Management) and ARM (Associate in Risk Management) designations.
Lynn Litt is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Platteville with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Safety Management. With more than 30 years of experience in insurance loss prevention/risk management, Lynn's background includes account coordination and service to a variety of industries, including manufacturing, contractors, and healthcare facilities. He's earned several designations, including the CSP (Certified Safety Professional).
John Moake graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education and a Master of Science degree in Safety. He has more than 30 years of insurance loss prevention experience, 10 of them with West Bend. He's earned the ARM (Associate in Risk Management) and ALCM (Associate in Loss Control Management) designations.
David E. Nagel is a graduate of Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Safety. David has more than 21 years of experience as a loss prevention representative.
Bill Nienaber earned an Associate of Science Degree from Illinois Valley College and has more than 26 years of loss prevention experience inside and outside the insurance industry.
Tom Reed has 24 years of experience in the insurance industry, 20 of them with West Bend. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Safety and Health from the University of Dubuque in Dubuque, Iowa and is a certified trainer for the National Safety Education Center for OSHA 10/30 hour construction training. Tom is a member of the American Society of Safety Engineers.
Phillip Rigsby's experience includes working for both a risk analysis and management company and the insurance industry. Phillip has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management and a Master of Business Administration Degree with a concentration in Finance. He's also a Certified Fire Protection Specialist through the National Fire Protection Association. He'sh undergone extensive training in fire protection and specializes in the operation and analysis of automatic fire sprinkler systems.
Lee Roberts is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Safety. He has more than 35 years of experience as a loss prevention rep. Lee also has loss prevention teaching experience taught and is a certified Hunter Education Instructor.
Kim Schermetzler graduated from DePaul University with a Master of Science in Rehabilitation Services Administration. She also holds the Associate in Claims Certification. Kim has more that 15 years of loss prevention experience as a loss prevention representative and safety director.
Glenn Smith is a graduate of Lake Superior College-Duluth. He has 39 years of experience in property/casualty loss prevention. Glenn is also a former fire fighter, having served as fire chief for Minnesota Air National Guard, Duluth, Minnesota.
Dan Wilson worked in the insurance industry for the past 20 years. He was a police officer for the State of Wisconsin before earning a graduate degree in Risk Management from the University of Wisconsin-Stout. Dan also earned the ALCM (Associated Loss Control Degree) and CSP (Certified Safety Professional) designations. He works with a variety of customers, particularly in the area of work comp accident incident analysis, reports, and investigations.
Michael Winterle is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. He joined West Bend in 2010 and works primarily with non-profit, youth-focused, and community-based organizations. Mike is also a certified hunter safety instructor.
