West Bend Mutual Insurance Company is honored to once again be named one of the best places to work in Southeast Wisconsin! On the list of 2013 Top Workplaces, published by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, West Bend placed second in the large company category, moving up from third place in 2012.
The evaluation for the Top Workplaces program is based on feedback from a survey our associates completed a few months ago. A total of 224 companies participated in the program; 136 were selected for the Top Workplaces award. To be included on the list, survey scores of the participating companies had to meet national benchmark standards.
We’re honored to have been selected for the award, especially since the judges were our associates!
Congratulations to Kevin Steiner, West Bend president and CEO! Kevin was honored with a Leadership Award as a result of the Top Workplaces survey. One of the survey statements to which West Bend associates responded was, “I have confidence in the leader of this organization.”
The results show our associates have a great deal of confidence in Kevin as he ranked at the top for the responses to that statement.
