West Bend Mutual Insurance Company is the city’s 2015 Business of the Year! President and CEO Kevin Steiner accepted the award from West Bend Mayor Kraig Sadownikow at a celebration Tuesday at the Prairie Center. The presentation was held in conjunction with the Silver Lining® Social and was well attended by associates who enjoyed food and beverages from various West Bend restaurants. A group of local leaders selected our company after submissions were solicited in December. The group was asked to consider career opportunities, employee benefits, amenities, and community involvement, as well as our company’s ability to meet the minimum eligibility criteria. Eligible businesses must be in the manufacturing or service industries with at least 50 full time equivalent employees, and be located in the city for at least one year.
