Aaron Beharelle recently joined the West Bend Insurance Company’s leadership team as senior vice president – chief actuary and risk officer.
Aaron brings a wealth of experience, knowledge, and proven leadership cultivated during his 22 years at Zurich Insurance, most recently having served as Zurich North America’s chief actuary and leader of the Actuarial Center of Excellence. Additional positions he’s held include executive actuary – head of performance and reporting, strategic assistant to the Group CEO, and senior investor relations officer.
Aaron has a bachelor’s degree in Statistics and Operations Research from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He’s also recognized as a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS), the Society of Actuaries (FSA), and the Canadian Institute of Actuaries (FCIA). Additionally, he’s a member of the Swiss Association of Actuaries (SAA) and has earned several designations from The Institutes®, including Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Enterprise-wide Risk Management (ERM), and Associate in Insurance Services (AIS).
