In August, Jacki celebrated her 20^th anniversary with West Bend.  She joined the company in 2000, working in the Records, Claims, and IT Departments, as well as Customer Care, where she’s been since 2010.

Jacki shared with us, “There are so many reasons to love working at West Bend – a beautiful campus inside and out, flexibility, work/life balance, benefit package, and career advancement opportunities, but most important are the co-workers who turn into your ‘family.’ I’ve made life-long friendships here, and when you enjoy the people you work with, it makes your job very enjoyable. I’m grateful to work for such a phenomenal organization where people come first.”

People are and always will be our greatest asset. We would like to extend a huge congratulations to the newest members of West Bend's 25 year club.

Our associates were excited to have our first in-house blood drive in quite some time! Even those still working remotely made appointments and took time to come in and help save lives. Simply put, we are so fortunate to have such generous people working here. 😊

To celebrate, we delivered kringle and coffee to our associate's homes. Our culture can't be beat, so it's only appropriate for our associates to sit back and enjoy some delicious treats. 

Golfing on a Friday - sounds like fun! A few of our associates participated in the United Way Emerging Leader Golf Outing hosted last Friday by the United Way Emerging Leader Group.

One of the perks of working at West Bend is the disc golf course. As you can see, this family of deer has taken the course over. 😂 They seem to be enjoying it, although the little fawn looks like a tough competitor. 😍

National Payroll Week – September 7-11, 2020

National Payroll Week (NPW) coincides with the week of Labor Day, and highlights the achievements and symbiotic partnerships between America’s employees, payroll professionals, and various government programs and agencies.  The American Payroll Association (APA), its local chapters and others in the payroll industry use this week to spread awareness of the payroll withholding system and educate others on how paychecks are calculated.  The APA works with legislative and executive branches of the government to help payroll professionals understand their employers’ legal obligations and advocate for more effective laws, regulations, policies and guidance.  Members of West Bend’s payroll team are also members of the APA’s local chapter based out of Milwaukee, and encourage you to Learn more about National Payroll Week!

The majority of our associates are still working from home. We've greatly missed our work friends so we scheduled some safe patio parties to remedy that. Food, drink, and much-needed smiles and conversations were had. Thanks to everyone that came out!
