Teen driving safety. A parent’s story

volleyball heartOn February 4, 2012, every parent's worst nightmare became a reality for several families, as well as the entire community of Campbellsport, WI. Three girls from the local high school were tragically killed in a horrific car accident caused by excessive speed.

As a parent of two daughters, I cannot imagine getting that phone call. A friend shared the video below. When my wife and I watched it, we were moved to tears.

While the focus of West Bend Cares is to provide safety tips to families, I was reluctant about sharing this emotional story. But if sharing this video can save a life, it’s worth it. We’ve encouraged all of our friends with teenage children to watch this video and I encourage you to do the same, as well as check out these resources that focus on teen driving.
