Our executive got soaked to raise funds for our Relay for Life Team!  Thanks to all that participated and made this another successful and fun event!

Held in conjunction with the PIA of Wisconsin, we had a full house of agents and West Bend associates learning about commercial general liability, additional insured concepts and endorsements, business automobile coverages, workers' compensation, cyber liability and excess liability/commercial umbrella coverages.  At the end of the day, some will take the commercial casualty exam for the CIC designation and others take the courses for continuing education credits.  

We are featuring and celebrating the great United States of America this month as chosen by our Celebrating Cultures Committee.  They always plan fun events and provide opportunities to learn about cultures all over the world.  July is the perfect time to celebrate and what better way than to host our national icon of freedom...the bald eagle!  Angel and her handler, Jennifer, visited from the National Eagle Center in Minnesota to teach us about eagle biology and much more!  Watch a short video to learn about how eagles sleep.

Thanks to the summer interns at Ansay & Associates, LLC for visiting us to learn more about West Bend and the insurance industry! We appreciate all of the great interaction and questions. It was a pleasure to meet all of you. Best of luck in the future!

Many independent agents graduated from our Producer Development Program. For this training, West Bend contracts with Polestar, a company consisting of former insurance professionals that now consult, teach, and mentor our participants. The agents are hand-picked by the agency principals (like Rick Cox) and our Regional Sales Managers. If they qualify, they will attend educational sessions during two visits to West Bend that cover industry markets, trends, professional and commercial lines, priority management, referral harvesting, selling styles, social media, business planning and much more. They also presented to the West Bend associates, their peers, owners, and mentors. West Bend subsidizes part of the cost of this program to further support the education of independent insurance agents.

We officially welcomed 50 students who are working at West Bend this summer! They wore their college attire to represent their schools. It's great to have such amazing talent join our team!

A great time was had eating good food and watching the shenanigans with the Racing Sausages!  All proceeds raised were donated to the MACC Fund in honor of the Dove Family.
