How To Report A Claim

If you have a loss, West Bend provides several easy options for reporting a claim, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The easiest way to report any kind of claim you may have is to call West Bend directly, using our 24/7 claim reporting service, DirectConnect®. The toll free number is 1-877-922-5246.

If convenient, please try to have your West Bend policy number available. It's found in the upper left corner of your policy and begins with three letters followed by seven digits.

When you call DirectConnect, you'll have the option to:

  1. Talk to a TravelNet representative if you purchased this service and have a roadside emergency.
  2. Report a crack or chip in your windshield.
  3. Report any other kind of new loss to your DirectConnect representative.

You can also report a claim by:

  • E-mail: Report a claim via email at directconnect@wbmi.com. Please include:
    • Name
    • Address
    • City, State, Zip
    • Phone numbers (work, home, cell) with best time to call
    • Policy Number
    • Date of Loss
    • Description of Loss
  • Fax: Fax the same information to 1-800-459-4520 or 1-262-335-7000.
  • Contacting your independent agency: Your agency contact information is located at the top right corner of the policy you received from West Bend. Agency hours of operation vary.

Clear Vision for damaged windshields

Clear Vision repair service is the fast and easy way to report a damaged windshield.

Is your windshield cracked or chipped? Just call DirectConnect toll free and our Clear Vision representative will process your claim quickly. Here’s how it works:

After verifying coverage and degree of damage, the Clear Vision representative will determine if the windshield should be repaired or replaced. If you prefer to use a particular glass vendor, the representative will contact that vendor to communicate details of the loss and billing directions. If you don't have a preferred glass vendor, the Clear Vision representative will help you select one.

While the Clear Vision representative contacts the glass vendor, you can stay on the line and make the appointment immediately, or call the glass vendor at your convenience.

TravelNet for roadside assistance

TravelNet is an optional 24-hour emergency roadside service available on our Home and Highway policy. This coverage is available to West Bend policyholders who reside in Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, and Indiana.

If you need emergency roadside assistance anywhere in the United States or Canada, 24 hours a days 7 days a week, simply call toll free, 1-877-922-5246. A qualified service provider will respond with assistance for a number of services, including towing, flat tire change, gasoline delivery, battery jump start, and lockouts.

Workers' Compensation Claim Kits
